Pastoral Ministry provides Christ’s healing presence to those who are experiencing difficulties in their lives such as illness, relationship issues or questions of faith. Our staff is available to assist you in your emotional, spiritual and sacramental needs.

In Times of Illness and Death
The pastoral staff visits those who are hospitalized or experiencing illness. Please inform the hospital staff that you would like your parish notified.
While hospitals do their best to let the parish know when a member is at their facility, the reality is that often times the parish is not notified. If you or a family member are hospitalized and would like to be visited, please contact the Parish Office at (920) 468-5718.
End of Life
In the event of death, Pastoral Ministry provides support and healing. Staff works closely with the family who has experienced the loss and assists them in planning the funeral liturgy. They work with the funeral home to make sure that the family’s wishes In the days and years to come, Pastoral Ministry offers grief support and bereavement services.
The Sacrament of Healing
The Sacrament of Healing, sometimes referred to as the Sacrament of Anointing, can be administered anytime to someone who is experiencing illness or advanced age. The Sacrament reminds us that God is with us in these times and offers strength and healing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation can also be received at the same time. Contact the parish office.
Visits to the Homebound and Elderly
When parish members find themselves in a situation in
which attending Mass regularly is not an option, Prince of Peace brings church to them. Staff and volunteers visit the elderly and home bound. Arrangements can also be made
to bring the Eucharist. Simply contact the Parish Office at (920) 468-5718.
Care Ministers continue Jesus’ healing mission by being a listening presence to others. At Prince of Peace Care Ministers visit the elderly, home bound and those experiencing difficulties in their lives. Ministers undergo a background check, receive training and support, and are VIRTUS- certified.
