Our goal is to raise $4.5 million (paid out over the next five years) for a building expansion.
The Time to Pledge is NOW!
If you have not yet pledged to the one by One building campaign here at Prince of Peace, please return your pledge decision to the parish NOW!
Deacon Jeff and our parish leaders are working on the architectural and financing plans for the building expansion, but we need a pledge decision from each parish family before we can finalize these plans.
We are excited to announce that over 84% of our campaign goal has already been pledged!

Capital Campaign FAQ's
What is the prince of peace one by one campaign?
Prince of Peace has decided to make a visionary investment in our parish and embark on a $4.5 million capital campaign. This extraordinary fundraising effort will expand the physical space of our parish, increase building accessibility, and ensure that POP continues to be a place of positive and active community.
What is the goal of Prince of Peace’s one by One campaign?
The goal for Prince of Peace’s building campaign is to raise $4.5 million in pledges to be paid out over the course of the next five years.
Why is Prince of Peace choosing to launch this fundraising campaign?
Since the dedication of our church, our parish has been blessed with extraordinary growth, both in parish families and community programming opportunities. While abundant in community, fellowship, ministries, and love, our church does not have the space to sustain these wonderful blessings. To continue meeting the demands of both the present and future, we must prioritize a building expansion.
What specifically will the campaign support?
The building project has three major goals:
1.) Build new multi-functional classrooms and meeting rooms to support community programs and events
2.) Improve accessibility by adding an elevator between our basement and ground floor
3.) Renovate and expand our office spaces to ensure proper support of our growing parish staff

What is the one by One campaign and how will Prince of Peace be part of it?
The one by One campaign is a diocesan-wide fundraising effort that will strengthen our parishes, support the needs of Catholic schools and education programs, broaden social services and living justice ministries, grow vocations and help our Diocese and the greater community address other critical needs. Each parish in our Diocese is participating in the one by One campaign and has a specific goal for their parish campaign.
As a parish dedicated to the vitality of our Diocese, POP is proud to embark on our building project as part of the one by One campaign. Our parish diocesan portion of the campaign is $207,297 which will be covered separately by using our current parish savings. This means every cent raised through our campaign will be used towards the building expansion that will address our current and growing needs.

Who will be asked to support the one by One campaign?
Every active parish family will be asked to participate in this historic campaign with a sacrificial pledge proportionate to the blessings God has bestowed upon them. While not everyone will be able to make the same commitment, all will be asked to make an equal sacrifice. Gifts may be pledged over a five-year period as many find they are able to give more over time than with a one-time gift.
How are suggested ask amounts determined?
We determine the specific suggested amount that each parishioner is asked to contribute
based on past offertory giving and Bishop’s Appeal support. Regardless of giving history,
every parishioner will be invited to contribute a sacrificial gift to this campaign.

Will the campaign impact parish offertory?
Parish offertory is expected to remain constant as parishioners will be asked to consider pledged gifts over
and above traditional year-over-year parishioner giving.

Will Prince of Peace continue to take part in the Bishop’s Appeal and other regular collections during
the campaign?
the campaign?
Yes. The Bishop’s Appeal provides essential ongoing support for the day-to-day operations of the Diocese of
Green Bay. Parishioners will be asked to consider pledged gifts to the one by One campaign over and above
their giving to the Bishop’s Appeal and other regular collections.

Why is the Catholic Foundation managing the one by One campaign?
The Catholic Foundation has managed, historically, all of the development programs that support the
ministries and programs of the Diocese of Green Bay. The Foundation encourages financial stewardship
and generosity. As a separately incorporated entity, the Foundation also oversees the proper use of funds
received in support of parishes, ministries and programs of the Diocese of Green Bay and ensures all
contributed funds are used according to a donor’s intent.
The Catholic Foundation management comes at no cost to Prince of Peace and relieves a huge amount
of logistical and administrative work from our staff. The Catholic Foundation will manage donation
processing, payment reconciliation, campaign printing, and other administrative elements. Prince of Peace
does not have the funds or staff capacity to manage this process ourselves, and thus we are leveraging this
free resource.

Additional Common Questions:
Q: How are credit card fees handled, do they get passed along to me or Prince of Peace?
A: Great news, credit card fees won't hit you (the donor) or POP! The Catholic Foundation is covering all fees on their end.
Q: What if I did my pledge with a credit card, but 2 years later want to pay off my balance early with a check?
A: Great, we can gladly work with you on that. Please contact the Catholic Foundation to adjust your payment plan and make your final payment with the payment method of your choice.
