At Prince of Peace, Gospel Time is a special time set aside during our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass where the Gospel reading is shared with children ages 3 and above in a way that is easier for them to understand. After the message, this time can include activities, crafts, videos, and discussions related to the Gospel message.
The purpose of Gospel Time is to help children grow in their faith. By breaking down the Gospel reading into simpler terms and using age-appropriate examples, children can better understand the message of Jesus and how it can be applied to their daily lives.

Gospel Time is also an opportunity for children to ask questions and deepen their knowledge of the Bible and Catholic teachings. It is important because it helps children develop a deeper relationship with God and our faith community. By hearing and reflecting on the Gospel together with their peers, children can feel connected to their faith and begin to see themselves as part of a larger Catholic community.
